UPDATE – COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS
Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, first and foremost, we wish to say that our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick – to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery – and to the many dedicated NHS workers and others on the front-line.
Maun Motors Self Drive remains open to serve our current vehicle rental customers (which include NHS, councils, local authorities & food logistics supply chain) and provide an important service to organisations with key workers and those with essential needs.
We have availibility of LCVs & HGVs for companies & organisations providing critical services during the coronavirus pandemic (this includes new & non-account customers – please call us if you’ve never used us before), who are in need of replacement or additional vehicles, fast. Please call or submit a contact form for latest availibility.
Social Distancing & Hygiene
In order to remain operational, we have had to introduce many hygiene and social distancing measures – both in-depot and for our delivery drivers, including those recommended in the Government’s Guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (COVID-19), to protect our customers and employees.
Our procedures are constantly evolving with the situation – in line with changing Government guidance and availibility of safety products – the latest procedures will be visible on signage around the hire reception and will be verbally communicated by hire staff.
These additional measures will add time and inconvenience to your visit to our depot, which is unavoidable. Please allow for extra time when collecting and returning vehicles and ensure that all drivers & visitors practice social distancing & good hygiene practices.
ALL VISITORS MUST BE PREPARED TO LISTEN TO OUR STAFF AND FOLLOW THEIR SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
These instructions are to help ensure the safety of all Maun Motors employees and customers, so anyone who refuses to follow them will be asked to leave the premises. Any verbal abuse or aggressive behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated.
