Maun Motors Self Drive operate a comprehensive range of HGV box vans, to serve many purposes, with tail lifts and without tail lifts. The large cargo storage capacity in the box style body is ideal for carrying bulky items, which are too large or heavy to be moved in a 3.5t box van.
This model features a sleeper cab rather than a standard day cab – allowing a driver to sleep in the vehicle, should they need to on an overnight trip or when taking rest breaks. This 7.5t sleeper cab box van hire vehicle does not have a tail lift, which benefits those who require maximum payload to carry items which do not need to be manually unloaded with a tail lift.
Applications include long-distance and overnight haulage, coffin makers, furniture manufacturers & wholesalers, house and furniture removals, carrying stock for shops/stalls on pallets, carrying light building materials, marquee hire, event & furniture hire and many more.
Our 7.5 tonne box lorries with feature a rear roller shutter door which can be secured with a padlock (not supplied) for security. The chassis features a standard 4×2 axle configuration.
A tail-lift can aid with the loading/unloading of goods – especially those on pallets with the aid of a pallet truck, and goods loaded in wheeled Dutch trolleys or Danish trolleys – and bulky or heavy objects of up to 1000 Kg can be loaded & unloaded with ease. Some Maun Motors box vans are fitted with tail-lifts but – such as this one – not all, so please state if you require a tail lift when you call to book your vehicle.

Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, our vehicles are suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Scotland, and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. Therefore, under current rules you should not have to pay a charge to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone, LEZ or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London.
