Rolonof-type Roll-On/Roll-Off Hook Loaders
At Maun Motors we pride ourselves on providing vehicles for many specialist applications.
Waste disposal, recycling and environmental services is one such specialist area, which requires specialist equipment and a specialist approach; so Maun Motors offer “RORO” of “Rolonof” type Roll-On, Roll-Off hook-loaders which come complete with an automatic skip cover which goes over the load, and is operated by remote control.
Our RORO and skip wagon rental fleet are all HGV trucks which require the use of a tachograph. The driver must hold at least a Class C driving licence and be experienced in using RORO equipment.
Did you know that we also hire skip wagons with both solid arms and axtending arms? Please note, however, that Maun Motors does not hire skips, so these must be sourced separately to the trucks.

LONDON ULEZ (ULTRA Low Emission Zone) & Clean Air Zones
Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, our vehicles are suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Scotland, and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. Therefore, under current rules you should not have to pay a charge to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone, LEZ or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London.
