These single cab tippers with cage sides (extended sides with galvanised mesh) are perfectly suited for recycling, waste management, municipal and groundcare/grounds maintenance. They are manufactured and built to our own design & specification, to offer a strong and durable body whilst striking a balance between a large volume and a useable payload. These mesh-sided tipper vans are suitable for councils & local authorities operating inner-city kerbside waste & recycling collections, due to their compact size and Euro 6 emissions (allowing them to be used inside Clean Air Zones and the London Ultra Low Emission Zone).

In the utilities and civil engineering industries, vehicles equipped with a hydraulic tipping dropside pick up body are used every day. They can be driven on a standard category B car licence and are also available with towbar & tachograph, making them legal for towing such as a wood chipper trailer, mini digger, etc. This makes the 3.5 tonne tipper a popular hire vehicle for many uses.
The standard body length on a 3.5t single cab dropside tipper is around 3.1 metres / 10 feet 3 inches, whereas the standard body length on a 3.5 tonne crew cab tipper is around 2.7 metres / 8 feet 9 inches. Single cab tippers, with 3 seats in total, tend to be built on medium wheelbase L2 chassis-cabs.

These storage lockers have roller-shutter access doors on both sides of the van – for easy access to stored tools and supplies which need to be kept dry and secure). These vehicles are ideal for civil engineering and grounds maintenance applications.

LONDON ULEZ (ULTRA Low Emission Zone) & Clean Air Zones
Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, our vehicles are suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Scotland, and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. Therefore, under current rules you should not have to pay a charge to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone, LEZ or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London.
