Single cab Tipper hire, 3,500 Kg GVW van-based (e.g. Ford Transit MWB, Iveco Daily, VW Crafter, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) tippers.
In the utilities and civil engineering industries, vehicles equipped with a hydraulic tipping dropside pick up body are used every day. They can be driven on a standard category B car licence and are also available with towbar & tachograph, making them legal for towing such as a wood chipper trailer, mini digger, etc.ย ย This makes the 3.5 tonne tipper a popular hire vehicle for many uses.
The standard body length on a 3.5t single cab dropside tipper is around 3.1 metres / 10 feet 3 inches, whereas the standard body length on a 3.5 tonne crew cab tipper is around 2.7 metres / 8 feet 9 inches. Single cab tippers, with 3 seats in total, tend to be built on medium wheelbase L2 chassis-cabs.

CAGED TIPPERS – If you have a requirement for a single cab / day cab tipper with mesh / cage body side extensions, please ask us. We are trialing a few of these on our hire fleet due to customer demand.
TIPPERS WITH TOOL STORAGE – We also hire out 3.5 tonne single cab tippers with “tool pods” – a large tool & equipment locker placed in front of the tipping body, to allow safe and secure storage of equipment and tools. These storage lockers have roller-shutter access doors on both sides of the van – for easy access to stored tools and supplies which need to be kept dry and secure). These vehicles are ideal for civil engineering and grounds maintenance applications.

LONDON ULEZ (ULTRA Low Emission Zone) & Clean Air Zones
Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, our vehicles are suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Scotland, and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. Therefore, under current rules you should not have to pay a charge to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone, LEZ or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London.
