Five seat small crew vans (basically small panel vans with crew cabs) may be our smallest people movers, but they are an increasingly popular vehicle type on our hire fleet.  Modern, flexible seating configurations allow for regular and quick transitions between maximum seating capacity and maximum load carrying capacity (see diagram below for 4 possible layouts).  Crew cab vans are also known as “Combi vans” or “Kombi vans“.

Hiring a small crew van from Maun Motors is like hiring two vehicles in one; the people carrying capacity of a car when you need it and the cargo carrying capacity of a van when you need it!  Also referred to as double cab vans, crew cab vans and double cab-in vans; these vehicles are designed to offer the perfect balance between carrying crew and cargo, safely, which makes them perfect for carrying groundwork crews, etc.

Due to the versatility and mass appeal of panel vans, there is a mind-boggling selection of different wheelbases, roof heights and configurations of LCVs available from all of the major van manufacturers. We endeavour to carry a range of the most popular sizes and configurations on our van hire fleet, although the exact selection is subject to availability.

Perfect for carrying groundwork crews, for local deliveries or as a general runabout; small crew vans are as versatile as vans get.  Our small crew cab vans feature side-loading doors on both sides of the vehicle, which allows access to the rear seats from both near-side and off-side. All of the vehicles on our hire fleet have 3-point lap & diagonal seatbelts throughout and some of the later models also have ISOFIX built into the rear seats, to take a child seat.

The Citan Dualiner Extra Long has the following approximate internal loadspace dimensions:

loadspace length = 1.33m (with rear seats in use)  /  2.13m (with rear seats folded away)

loadspace volume = 2.4m³ (with rear seats in use)  /  3.7m³ (with rear seats folded away)

approx. payload = 750 Kg

In 2015 the DVLA abolished the paper counterpart driving licence. This affects how we are able to validate the driving licences of our customers. Hirers must now enter their details into a website in order to share some of their licence details with us, otherwise we are unable to hire to them.

LONDON ULEZ (ULTRA Low Emission Zone) & Clean Air Zones

Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, this vehicle is suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Greater Manchester, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. If you plan to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London, please specify a Euro 6 vehicle when making your booking.

Please note that due to the increased cost of modern vehicles, the rental price of a Euro 6 model may be higher than a Euro 5 model; but if you will be entering a ULEZ or CAZ this extra cost will be more than offset by not having to pay an entry charge.
