Versatile 21 foot dropside truck with tail lift to aid loading & unloading
7.5 tonne dropside hire.ย 7.5t GVW trucks featuring flatbed bodies fitted with aluminium dropsides cover a diverse range of uses, from palletised distribution to the transportation of scaffolding.ย The aluminium sides can also be removed upon request, to allow the truck to be used as a standard flatbed truck.
A tail-lift can aid with the loading/unloading of goods – especially those on pallets with the aid of a pallet truck, and goods loaded in wheeled Dutch trolleys or Danish trolleys – and bulky or heavy objects of up to 1000 Kg can be loaded & unloaded with ease.ย Some Maun Motors curtainside lorries – such as this one – are fitted with tail-lifts, but not all, so please state if you require a tail lift when you call to book your vehicle.
This 7,500 kg GVW truck has a flatbed body with removable aluminium dropsides, and heavy-duty, hard-wearing, hardwood half-lap flooring.ย The aluminium sides can also be removed upon request, to allow the truck to be used as a standard flatbed truck.ย The chassis features a standard 4×2 axle configuration.
Our dropside lorries, with their 21 foot bodies, are the standard size for a 7.5 tonne dropside.

Thanks to meeting the Euro 6 emissions rating, our vehicles are suitable for use within the London ULEZ Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Scotland, and the Clean Air Zones operating in cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield, Tyneside – Newcastle and Gateshead, Bradford, Bath, Bristol & Portsmouth. Therefore, under current rules you should not have to pay a charge to use your hired vehicle within a Clean Air Zone, LEZ or the enlarged ULEZ zone in Greater & Central London.
