HIAB is a Swedish manufacturer of loader cranes and truck-mounted forklifts. However, for many years the term ‘Hiab’ has become the commonly adopted generic term all crane lorries. Hiab hire – or Hiab crane lorry rental – has been a speciality of Maun Motors Self Drive since the 1990s and we have a comprehensive range of Hiab crane lorries available to hire, ranging from 7.5 tonne GVW up to 32 tonne GVW
These specialist crane-equipped vehicles have a wide variety of uses. With many configurations available, including: different lifting capacities, front mounted or rear mounted cranes, attachments including brick grabs and clamshell grab buckets – crane lorries enable “self-sufficient” collections & deliveries. Thus reducing the need for forklifts or mobile cranes to be present at collection or delivery sites – with obvious financial benefits.
Our crane lorries are available with a range of body styles, including dropsides, flatbeds and tipper-grab ‘muckaways’ with tipper body and a front-mounted crane with grab bucket.
