Based at South Normanton, right on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border and just off M1 Junction 28 – Maun Motors’ Minibus Hire Department is ideally situated to service the market town of Chesterfield and local areas of Dronfield, Wingerworth, Bolsover, Staveley, Clay Cross, Matlock, Grassmoor, Hasland, Old & New Whittington, Brimington, Calow, Arkwright, Barlborough, Worksop and the Peak District.
We hire out high specification, luxury 9 seat minibuses, such as the Ford Tourneo Custom and more basic, larger models. So we have a minibus to hire to suit most occasions, from event security, to sports teams & clubs, to transport for corporate events.
PSV Minibuses are also available to hire from Maun Motors Self Drive. We now offer minibuses which meet PSV regulations (Public Service Vehicle) with the following seating capacities: 12 seat, 15 seat and 17 seat (including driver). These minibuses receive an annual PSV test instead of a standard MOT. So if you are a minibus operator in need of a short-term replacement PSV minibus, please give us a call and specify a PSV tested vehicle when you make your booking. There may be an additional cost for a PSV minibus over our standard minibuses.
Maun Motors’ modern Hire Fleet of Minibuses (9 seaters, right through to 17 seater models) has a vehicle to suit most passenger transportation requirements. All vehicles are fitted with three-point lap and diagonal seatbelts throughout; ABS, Traction Control and a host of safety features, designed to transport your passengers in comfort and safety.
A 9-seater minibus can be driven by anyone with a standard full car licence (Category B) and does not require the use of a tachograph unless towing. You may be able to drive a minibus with up to 15 passenger seats using your current car driving licence as long as it’s not for ‘hire or reward’. Please remember the minibus seating capacities we advertise include the driver, i.e. a 9 seater will carry 8 passengers and the driver.
